It is Christmas time, Chloe and her mommy are busy making crafts and cookies but Chloe did have time to show all of you one of the cookies she made.
Christmas Sugar Cookies
Bake at 350F
Chloe is all dressed up and ready to go!!
Here is what we have: (in bowls clockwise) sugar, flour, baking powder/salt and eggs.
(on counter) vanilla extract, sprinkles and butter.
In a medium bowl add flour, salt and baking powder. Mix and set aside.
In a large bowl, add the softened butter, eggs. sugar and vanilla.
Beat with an electric mixer until smooth around a minute. Mommy helped her with this part but Chloe watched to make sure she was doing it right.
Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three or four batches mixing until incorporated.
Roll them into one inch balls and dip into sprinkles. Great work Miss Chloe!
Ta-Da!! What a super job Chloe. Place on a non-greased cookie sheet an bake for 10 minutes.
WOW they turned out wonderful and so festive!
Chloe couldn't wait to try them, she said they were very yummy and wanted more!

1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

In a large bowl, add the softened butter, eggs. sugar and vanilla. Beat with an electric mixer until smooth around a minute.
Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in three or four batches mixing until incorporated.
Roll them into one inch balls, dip into sprinkles and place on a non-greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
